The extreme cold and fresh snow have made traveling difficult on some of our local roads. I drove around our church’s area earlier this evening and noticed some slick intersections and roadways. The subzero windchill is making it difficult for road salt to work effectively, and with the temperatures plummeting even further tonight, I don’t expect conditions to improve before service time tomorrow.
Therefore, I am asking all of our senior members to remain home this Sunday, January 14th, and watch our live stream service online. I’m also recommending that those who live outside of Maryland Heights remain home and join our live stream.
While my family and a few others will be assembling for worship and broadcasting the morning services from the church house, the Sunday evening service will be broadcast from my home, and the church building will be closed for the evening.
To summarize, here is the service schedule for Sunday, January 14th:
Sunday School – 10:00 A.M. (church open, service live streamed)
Morning Worship – 11:00 A.M. (church open, service live streamed)
Evening Worship – 6:30 P.M. (church CLOSED, live stream from Pastor’s house)
Be Blessed,
Pastor Joe Cassada
